Great for couples wanting a cozy getaway
The location was fantastic! Just a stone's throw from the Christmas markets and lots of pubs. Spent some good nights exploring the local nightlife, and Karen was super helpful with everything, texting me details on how to check in when I arrived. I also loved that the room was larger than expected and spotlessly clean with all the little touches.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what you get, I'd say it was worth it.

The location of the hotel was great and fab - at a medium distance from The York Dungeon. Moreover, it was just off the tapas bar, the shops and local restaurants and pubs plenty to do and all major attractions. I was here for 2 nights and ate at family restaurant with great food.

Beautiful spot near everything!
Karen was super helpful, and the breakfast was great! The location is a dream, just a short walk to all the sights. Only bummer was some noisy plumbing in our room, a bit annoying. Still, we had a blast, and the food in the restaurant is fab!

Excellent location and cozy atmosphere
The location was perfect, just a couple of minutes from the Minster. The room felt so cozy and had a lovely decor. The staff were attentive and quick to resolve an issue I had with the bathroom. One small area for improvement would be clearer information on parking arrangements.

The location was really good, just a two-minute walk from the Minster and city center. My room was clean and well-appointed, with comfortable bedding and ample tea and coffee supplies. There were some minor cleaning oversights.

Got to say, i loved the location, literally right next to the minster, super central for everything! The double room on the top floor was really clean and comfy, i slept like a baby. Check-in was so easy with key safes, got all the info i needed via text. Parking was cheaper with their permits, a nice lil surprise! Can totally recommend this place for a chill stay in york!
But there were no spoons for coffee in the room, and it would be cool if they had some coffee too. Checkout time was a bit confusing with different info.

missingWrote a review on 13 Julcentral locationspacious roombright ambianceuncomfortable mattressdated bathroom
Conviently located just a two-minute walk from the Minster and city center. The spacious room featured high ceilings and a bright ambiance.
The room had several issues that could use attention. The bathroom was dated, with peeling paint in the shower and a broken radiator. Street noise was quite disruptive, especially with windows that couldn't be opened for fresh air. The mattress felt too small and uncomfortable, and the condition of the pillows left much to be desired. Some towels appeared unclean, and there was a distinct lack of basic amenities like a fridge in the room, frustrating.

Had a lovely stay with comfy beds and modern decor that made the room feel warm and inviting. The rooftop terrace was a great spot to unwind, and I loved being able to grab a coffee 24/7. The only downside was the noise from the busy street outside, but it didn't ruin my time here at all! ☕
